Well now, good day to all of you, & welcome to another edition of Mini-DDs! Where we strive to feature DD-worthy artwork that's so brilliantly crazy, it drives us into rehab!

...Okay, the real deal is that there was no edition last week due to a bit of a personal crisis/deep funk/meltdown of mine: slydante.deviantart.com/journa… ...But yeah, everything's pretty much better there now. And I know it may seem like a silly reason for a delay to some, but what can I say, it really hurt me hard.

Anyhow, to repay you all for patiently waiting for a week, this week's edition will be twice the size of a regular one, with eighteen features instead of the usual nine!

And maybe that's for the best, seeing as how I really wanted the last "normal" batch of Mini-DDs of 2008 to really be amazing. Yeah, this is it for the regular stuff this year...The last two editions will be filled out by our Xmas Special (which should be up around Christmas Eve/Day) & the Mini-DDs Best of 2008 Extravaganza!!

Yes, just like last year's event, the best Deviations of the year shall be chronicled, & a competition shall be held to determine the year's number one Deviation...With prizes to be given out as well!

And this is where I need a bit of help from all of you. For one, if you actually have any suggestions for the best Deviations of 2008, feel free to give them to me, as I wouldn't want to miss any amazing stuff when putting the whole shebang together (plus, I can count it towards your early vote/entry for the contest). And for that matter, if you have any suggestions for DD-worthy holiday-themed artwork (for the Xmas Special), feel free to let me know about that as well.

But also this year, I'm also looking for donations to the prizes for the Best of 2008 Extravaganza. Sorry for hitting you up...I really don't want to, but as I'm not working this year & that money is a bit tighter yet I want this year's special to be bigger, I'm going to have to ask for a bit of help here. Anything you can spare - subscriptions, DA merchandise, commissions, etc. - would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I think that's everything I need to say for now...Actually, two last things: One, because of the larger amount of features this time around, all of the descriptions have been put into the "equation" format to simplify things...& two is that I'm sorry that all of this is a few hours late, but I was a little nauseous last night...After having watched the rancid turkey that was Gremlins 2: The New Batch ("satire of the original", my @$$!).

Anyhow, on with the main event already!

Okay, so if you don't know by now, the featured artists here each receive the Golden Fefcaine Award:

Golden Fefcaine Award by SlyDante

...My little prestigious token of appreciation for anyone who created some amazing, DD-worthy artwork. Plus it has a delicious milk chocolate center! And some pieces of ladyfingers & toffee bits thrown into the mix this week as well, just because we felt a tad seasonal!

Oh, & feel free to check out the Mini-DD Archive afterwards right here: slydante.deviantart.com/journa…
