Alright, welcome to yet another edition of Mini-DDs! Where we try to show you the finest in DD-worthy artwork, even if it costs us our sanity in the end!

Okay, so anyone here remember last week's edition, where I mentioned that a bug in V6 may harm this week's crop of Deviations? Um, so yeah...I kind of found a way around that bug (though it still exists), so thankfully the Mini-DDs don't have to suffer!...Well, the site's lag is still killing me here, but I guess that's another issue...

That's actually all for the intro, btw...Not much to say this week. Besides, I guess I should save any extra energy for big things up ahead like DA's 8th birthday...What to do for it, what to do...

Alright then, pointless chit-chat having been checked off, let's get going with the main event already!

Alright now, on with the show! Here's this week's Mini-DDs...



Now, I may have already featured ~ivan-bliznak here just a little over two months ago, but then he & his little friend went & sprang CMYK monster on me, & there was just no way I could resist. Simple yet eye-catching styles, unique concept & creature design, some great coloring (no surprise there), & of course, a great sense of humor all make for one cute, wild, & lovable piece of vector art that you just have to check out!



Witchie Boo's World - COLORED by ~PatCarlucci & *SplashColors...Now this is one world I wouldn't mind taking a trip to someday! Between the several cool & impressive creations, fun & mischievous mood, somewhat sultry & attractive style, & some truly intense, amazing, & detailed coloring, there isn't a part of this little splash page that doesn't disappoint. Besides, can you really resist anything involving possessed candy corn? Really?



A lot of single words come to mind when it comes to thinking of how Smog by ~k4szkiet feels...Macabre, slick, striking, surreal, innovative, simple, wicked...Well, you get the idea. But the standouts here have to be the smooth style, nice little details, & the perfectly-used minimalistic color scheme, all of which work together to make one sweet design that is not to be missed.



H U N G R Y ? by ~soloira is just one those Deviations where cute & creepy come together to create one quirky & lovable piece of work. The unique concept alone is worth it, but those wicked expressions, bold & simple color scheme, attractive style, & sweet sense of humor are what'll keep you coming back to this beauty again & again. Now fave it or face a (literal) tongue-lashing.



~recycledwax does it yet again, creating yet another sweet, cute, & colorful design that actually makes you proud to be a Geek. The lovable little characters, the eye-catching mix of bright & dark colors, the mounds of nostalgic detail, & RW's own unique, cartoonish style all make for one mind-blowing Deviation that ranks among the artist's best (& once again, so freaking deserves to be on a designer t-shirt).



A truly unique & excellent cartoonist here at DA, *PurplePeepBits's love for El Tigre shows in CYBER PUNK HEAVY METAL CHICKS, a cute, colorful, & inspired piece of work. You can actually hear the fast-paced rock playing in the background as you check out Jinx's eye-popping style, cool details (love the expressions), & fun little twists on the characters (love the El Tigre kitty as well)! Overall, one primo drawing that you have to admire, fan of the show or not.



Rocky by ~TinyPEN15...Odd user name, kickass creature design! Menacing yet slightly cartoonish, nicely styled with a great amount of detail, perfectly colored with a scheme & highlights that match the character perfectly...Overall, it's one killer design & drawing that should belong in a top-notch fantasy game. Hope your characters don't end up bumping into this guy...



The pun may be a bit groan-worthy for some, but nonetheless, piknocKO is still one cute & lovable little cartoon that stands out thanks to ~pipibonbon's unique & cool style. The nice mix of colors, fun character design, & good amount of detail definitely help out as well, resulting in one fun Deviation worth checking out. Besides, which of us hasn't wanted to beatsomeone senseless in a humorous way as well?



An impressive little mixture of rock-related elements, Rock on by ~Shinybinary melds together several funky designs, a cool-looking darkish color scheme, & an impressive amount of detail into one wicked creation whose psychedelic-ish aura & creative assortment of the freakish are guaranteed to catch your attention & rock your world (yeah, that part was corny, my bad).
