Ever wanted to know how you came to the idea of the mini DDs? They are really known around here and I like it.

Holy s***, I have a forum here??? I honestly did did not realize it until now...Or about two weeks ago, in which my procrastinating @$$ promptly forgot about it again.

Let's see, where the idea came from...It was back in 2006, I was still pretty new to DA, & truly got into suggesting Daily Deviations, having seen them as a kickass way to give kickass art the recognition it deserves.

Unfortunately, I had learned that sometimes no matter how hard of a case you put up, some of your favorites just won't get picked. So I asked `Aeires, the current Digital Art GM at the time (& the one I was suggesting to the most) what I could do to help get my picks turned into DDs, features or whatnot.

He suggested (among one or two other things, I believe), that I make my own features. And then I figure hey, I could take it a step further, I could make them my own little DDs as well! So having been inspired, I whipped up a little award, started writing in my journal, & the rest is pretty much history! ^_^
